Magician
Tales of the Magician
Rating
Style: Power Metal
Release date: September 22nd 2008

Magician has taken it upon themselves to pick up the torch from their fellow countrymen Angra, delivering an album with the same kind of spirit Angra had before they split into two fractions. Magician is taking us on a musical journey, telling us the story of the magician Zhaldor's journey, seeking to free his homeland Zelgian from an underworld terror.

And they do pick up where Angra left us many moons ago, and have created an album that easily can  compare with the best moments in Brazilian Power Metal aka when Angra was at their peak.

'Tales of the Magician' is a great debut album, one which need no further introduction, you all know what to expect, and the goods delivered are strong and powerful. So if you are into this kind of metal, then I suggest you'd take a listen to this up and coming band from Brazil.
