The t in the word ’listen’ is silent. Please remember that. No matter what anyone tells you, you should never pronounce it. Not even if you’re a German metal singer.

Apart from that minor blunder, Machinemade God’s ‘Masked’ is a very solid album - do not fear checking it out if you’re a fan of In Flames.

They have the breaks, the groove and the power it takes to make the booties move – and the sound is impeccable. Solid riffing in abundance, not earthmoving, but solid indeed, and the mix of clean vocal and shouts is excellent.

A nice, modern metal album. Do try it out.

Recommended: For Those Who Care – hammer track! Power-drumming!
