Leaded Fuel's members are "Swedish by birth, rebels by choice." There is something fun and nostalgic about bands that play that kind of sleazy rock in 2008. This is greasy, party music from beginning to end with lyrics ala Mötley Crüe's more average achievements and looks ala Guns n' Roses and the likes.
The riffs are rather catchy for the one who's into that kind of music.
The voice, on its side, is often too low and hidden, a pity as a vocalist in the centre would have lifted the recording. Maybe there is a lack of conviction in the air? Technically, a clearer articulation would better the performance.
Whereas the rock tracks are in the good old style, the ballads remind me of my after-party band at its most tired, and without the fun lyrics. I will have to blame the singer again; this is unsharp and tone-deaf, or really drunk, I hope.
There is a feeling of a joke over the whole, but on the other hand, give it a try as you can be sure you won't hear that kind of stuff every other day. Let time show what happens to these!
