I’m sure that most AOR/Melodic rock fans know the name JIMI JAMISON, the lead singer of SURVIVOR, right? Well, JIMI JAMISON has teamed up with ex-SURVIVOR JIM PETERIK to write and record his latest solo effort and the result is called ‘Crossroads Moment’.

We get no less than 14 songs of pure AOR and even though I prefer my music a bit harder than what JIMI JAMISON provides us, ‘Crossroads Moment’ is still a pleasant surprise in my book. JIMI JAMISON and JIM PETERIK have written 14 memorable songs that should satisfied every lover of the melodic side of rock music.

Songs such as; album opener “Battersea”, “Can’t Look Away, “Make Me A Believer”, “She’s Nothing to me” and ”Friends We Never Met” are dripping with quality smooth AOR of the highest class. Not groundbreaking in any way but wonderfully crafted wedges of polished AOR music. The crystal clear production and the fact that JIMI JAMISON is surrounded by excellent musicians take this release to an even higher level. ‘Crossroads Moment’ should be a must buy for fans of TOTO and of course SURVIVOR... or AOR fans in general.

Nice one.

(My only complaint is that my promo-CD is packed with voice-overs to avoid any piracy... - GODDAMMIT... it’s really annoying.)
