Looking for futuristic death metal with grindcore elements? Well... here you have it! ‘Digital Disdain’ by INSIDOUS contains 7 tracks. The playing-time is only 23 minutes and 31 seconds but you’ll be entertained from the very start to the very end.

Every instrument is clearly audible (even the bass) and we’ll get “catchy” guitar-runs all over this album. The production is a little “thin” and ‘Digital Disdain’ needs a few spins to blossom but just give it the time it needs and you’ll have a solid piece of work. My only complaint is track 4 “Blood Harvest”. This track is quite obscure - it’s all about a voice and electronic noises... rather forgettable.

‘Digital Disdain’ is like a breath of fresh air in a time where so many death/core bands sounds the same and INSIDOUS is a band you definitely could introduce to your friends with no worries.

Solid.
