After the intro "March" the battle metal in the song "Spartain Phalanx" sounds quite familiar. Holy Martyr mixes music of  Manowar, Manilla Road, Iron Maiden, with acoustic, proggy and doomy parts. After one of the best songs "Lakedaimon" the tempo is going a lot slower in "Hellenic Valour". "The Call to Arms" starts interesting and fast as a Sabaton song, but then completely slows down and falls apart.

That's where I lost contact with the music, I don't like the slower parts, and the songs don't stick and are not interesting enough. Some are quite good, others can't keep my interest. The band has done their best with a good production, the musicians are skilful and the vocals are not bad either. But I miss the sparkle and I have the feeling that I have heard all of this done better before. Fans of the band probably won't agree, but I can't do anything about it.

Fans of Doomsword and Manilla Road have to listen to this one, because I think they will find a band that they like. They can surplus my rating with 20 points. To me it was a little too regular and at times a little boring.
