I have only read good things about this album by HIS WITNESS called ’Kingdome Come’ recorded back in 1988. Well, production-wise it stands the test of time and there’s nothing wrong with the music... we are talking hard rock / melodic metal here... and we get one catchy riff after another, but I miss a catchy chorus now and then. And I must admit that all this “Christian metal” gets on my nerves with titles such as; “Jesus Heals”, “Pick Up Your Cross” and “Jesus Died For You”. But let’s get back to the music, shall we?

The CD starts with two great songs, namely; “Everlasting Life” and “Kingdom Come”, two songs with memorable riffs and catchy choruses that sticks like glue. And that’s exactly what melodic metal should be all about, right? The next 7 tracks are okay... but not exactly especially memorable mostly because the lack of catchy choruses. The CD ends with “Party’s In Heaven”... a great party rocker that will satisfy your lust for melodic metal.

All in all an okay album... but not essential.
