I’ve never heard of this band before, but I can see how there’s entertainment potential in these rocking ghouls. If I’m to trust the pictures in the booklet there’s Gwar/Slipknot fun in line for concert goers, and that’s just cool.

There’s neither Gwar nor Slipknot in the music, though. The inspiration is more in the vein of Danzig and Volbeat. The similarities between singer Wretched and the latter-mentioned’s Michael Poulsen are definitely there.

What I’m trying to say here is that there isn’t much shocking about Grave Robber’s music – kinda like a hellbilly thing, but it works, no doubt. Rocking, good fun, with a horror punk attitude.

Would love to see them live – must be buckets of horror fun.
