Once again a Dutch band's new record circles rounds in my stereo. Not a whole lot of people know that this is actually their third record. Forcefeed's music is a very modern-style heavy/groovy metal with low tuned guitars (Korn) just hear when the riffs in the first song "Grinder" shoot out of the boxes. The vocals of Lennard Barendse are very modern also, angry screaming vocals that fit the music well. Like a lot of other modern metal bands they combine these vocals with clear singing.

With Jochem Jacobs (Textures) responsible for the production/mixing, the result is that the album has a good sound. This so called Hybrid-metal is not exactly my cup of tea, but I have listened to it this time with satisfaction. Not only the music is very professional, the lyrics are rather intelligent as well and the complete artwork finishes it of.

Perhaps with a great video and some airplay from MTV they can conquer some modern-metal fans around the world. I recommend to people, who got curious and like modern hybrid bulldozer metal to listen to the band on their Myspace page.
