Finally we have the funk back in metal, and there is only one band capable of delivering the good in style: Extreme.

Through fourteen funky tunes they show where the hammer hangs, and proves they are the kings of this tiny niche of metal. Gary Cherone sings up to par with his early days, Nuno Bettencourt proves just why many consider him one the most over-looked guitar heroes in music today, and the rhythm section lays down some serious funky beats.

The vibe is there, the songs rock, and Extreme is back with a vengeance!

Sure they can't keep the pace throughout the entire album, but even the few below average songs entertains enough to keep you rocking.

Good album, and welcome back Mr. Cherone, Bettencourt, Figueiredo and Badger.
