'Darkness Will Fall' is an accessible album showcasing the vocal talents of Eliza Pezzuto, created by Lars Eric Mattsson. And the songs created to showcase her skills starts and ends in dark melancholic world of gothic metal with traces of classical, symphonic and progressive metal and rock nicely blended into the mix.

Eliza Pezzuto shows her amazing talent front and centre, her performance alone makes this album worth checking out. Her strong pipes are in the league of some of the female giants in gothic metal, and she doesn't have to hide from any of them. Her impressive organ is sound wise pretty close to the one of Sharon den Adel and you can also hear the influences of Kate Bush. And the music to support her is written with the attention to her skills and range, and is complimenting her style very well.

I suggest you should give this one a try if you put on female fronted gothic metal acts every now and then, and think Evanescence and Within Temptation is cream of the crop.
