ELEVENER is a new hot Swedish band with only 2 members namely Johan Bergquist (Vocals, keyboards and bass) and Andreas Brodén (Guitars and drums). Some of you out there might know Johan Bergquist from M.ILL.ION.
Johan and Andreas joined forces in 2005 to make new music sounding as if the 90’s never had existed. And here it is... ELEVENER’S debut album entitled ‘When Kaleidoscopes Collide’.
Well... I must admit that I’m more into hard rock and metal than AOR, but this is undoubtedly
a catchy and memorable AOR release that certainly could please fans of TOTO, ASIA, SURVIVOR, JOURNEY and MAGNUM (amongst others).
Johan and Andreas really knows how to write a catchy tune and Johan’s voice is just right for
their material. Songs like; “This Heart of Mine”, “Say if You Want”, “Shooting Star” and “Could it
be You” contains just what the doctor ordered against depression, namely catchy riffs and catchy choruses. But what’s the point in carrying on when what you really ought to be doing is to order this AOR/Melodic rock album right away.
‘When Kaleidoscopes Collide’ was produced, mixed and mastered by Tobias Lindell and Dragan Tanaskovic at Studio Bohus... and they have done an excellent job.
A must buy for AOR fans.
