The international collaboration Eden's Curse returns with their sophomore album entitled 'The Second Coming', and this time around they mean business. The international touch has flown into every aspect of this production, from the song writing, the deliverance, through the production and the general feel to the album.

This time they want to compete with the heavy-weight contestants in the genre, and Eden's Curse comes out unscarred and with their heads held high, because they have created a from top to bottom album solid as a rock with all the ingredients needed to make an impact in the cut-throat business.

Twelve exceptional well produced and executed melodic metal songs are on offer, and no matter whether if they are taking the soft road, like they do in the wonderful ballad "Man against the World" or are rocking hard, fast and furious like they do in "Lost Soul" they do never take off and loose focus. The best moments are reached with the power anthem "Angels & Demons", where Michael Eden has a vocal-duel with Pamela Moore (of Queensr˙che fame), as well as the straight forward melodic rock tune: "West Wind Blows", which has a great solo-part and the before mentioned speedy rocker: "Lost Soul" and the "Man against the World" ballad.

What they clearly lack in originality they sure make up for with a great production and the professional approach to things. All in all a very fine piece of melodic metal.

Good one!
