Is Disturbed just another over-hyped new metal band from across the pond? A band with three albums that went straight to #1 on the US Charts, including 'Indestructible', speaks volume and Disturbed is a lot more than your average modern metal band.

Clearly one of the frontrunners of the modern metal genre, they have grown immensely as a band, and have a formula that clearly works, but that hasn't made them repeat them selves, no they have moved forward and tested new territories with each album.

Gaining a stronger following with each album has never meant they've turned more commercial or that vocalist David Draiman has taken a step back with his statements, which has a lot of political undertones, and that hasn't changed with this album.

'Indestructible' shows why they are ahead of the pack with its well crafted, played and produced songs, and even though they can't up the pace throughout the entire album this is still strong enough to keep the competition at bay. Over-hyped - you be the judge...
