When I received this promo-CD I threw it in my player without any expectations at all and now numerous spins later I can tell you that this is a more than solid output, which is sure to attract more fans to the band.

DESCENDING hails from Greece and “Enter Annihilation” is their debut full-length album and it contains 12 modern thrash metal tracks influenced by CHILDREN OF BODOM, TRIVIUM, SOILWORK, AT THE GATES and EXODUS.

This release is packed with catchy riffing mixed with nice thrashy elements... solid lead work and great drumming. My only complaint here is the vocals from Jon Simvonis. Not that I dislike his aggressive style but it gets a bit monotonous in the long run. But his voice wins a bit with every spin.

Not much to say, really... it’s a solid and interesting album, and one that works, as long as you are into the above mentioned bands.
