Release date: April 29th 2008

For a life-long fan of the band, it is with great pleasure that I can report that Def Leppard has made their best album since 'Adrenalize', but in all honesty that isn't really as big an accomplishment as it may sound.

'Songs from the Sparkle Lounge' is a return to many of the old virtues, the band rocks harder than they have done in a long time; the songs are strong and have spice.

They haven't recycled the old style, but have brought the band well into this millennium with a strong album that never reaches any of their 80's classics but still manages to have a life of its own.

Good one!
