Sharing Space
Rating
Style: Progressive Rock
Release date: August 25th 2008

Cog from Down Under is one of those bands that will never conform to everyday trends in the musical world. The basics are clearly in the progressive rock, but the melting pot has been peppered with many fine ingredients from alternative to metal sounds.

The mixture does sound fresh, unspoiled and strange... Their style is very demanding on the listener, and it took me awhile before all their ideas and soundscapes began to sink in and blossom.

'Sharing Space' is an intelligent, original sounding and convincing album with no musical limitations, and a very refreshing and demanding experience that hopefully will get it's share of well deserved attention.

Give it a try...
