Melodic rock music should be packed with catchy riffs and catchy choruses that sticks like glue, right?

Well... this new album from CHINA BLUE with front man Tony Mills (TNT, SHY) sounds very promising after the 5 first tracks. Everything seems to fit... the riffs, the tasty leads and the catchy choruses, but then something happens. The last 7 tracks isn’t worth my hard earned money. They are routinely written and arranged, well played and everything but lacks catchiness in my humble opinion. This is no fun anymore.

Everything is well produced and even though I’m left quite disappointed... at least with the the last 7 tracks...  AOR-fans should check CHINA BLUE out now and be their own judge. But I will look elsewhere for my melodic rock injection.
