Minoru Hiihara (Ex-Loudness) is just like Udo Dirkschneider a charismatic vocalist, but they will never be vocal masters technically. Minoru Hiihara has a very special sounding voice, and he sounds like no other and his fingerprints are all over this album.
It is easy to hear that the band has been together for a long time, they have released 6 albums and a couple of DVD's in Japan, but this is their first worldwide release. Their kind of metal is powerful and fast without many surprising breaks, delivered by a tight and well playing unit that has created a fine selection of metal tunes.
If you don't mind Minoru Hiihara's trademark high-pitched vocals, do take a listen to this fine piece of metal that falls into the same category as Loudness; straight ahead powerful metal with outstanding guitar work and catchy choruses.
But mind you this is not a metal typhoon, it's more like a mild breeze...
