It’s no surprise for people who know me that I’m thrilled that my favourite Danish thrash metal band ARTILLERY are back on stage. They are celebrating it with a brand new release... namely a DVD release entitled “One Foot in the Grave, The Other One in the Trash”.
The DVD is featuring a gig at Metalmania Festival 2008, 4 bonus video clips and interviews with Michael Stützer, Morten Stützer and Carsten Nielsen. Biography, Discography, photo gallery and so on.
But to me it’s the music and the gig at Metalmania Festival 2008 that counts. Love ‘em or hate‘em... I couldn’t care less... I love ‘em and I’m having a great time watching my favourite Danish thrashers kick the audience’s big behinds with tracks such as; “Deeds of Darkness”, “The Almighty”, “Khomaniac”, “Terror Squad” and my favourite ARTILLERY track “Time Has Come” (among others).
There are a few new faces in the line up... Søren Nico Adamsen (vocals) and Peter Thorslund (bass) but they rock and thrash like the rest of the band so a big welcome to Søren and to Peter.
ARTILLERY are playing most of my favourite tracks here, so this DVD will certainly find its way into my player from time to time... period.
Now... I’m just waiting for a brand new CD with brand new songs. And I must admit that I can’t wait to hear what they can come up with.
