Architects
Ruin
Rating
Style: Progressive Metal / Hardcore
Release date: July 22nd 2008

The young Architects released this summer their second album Ruin and rumour says the third one is already in preparation. The last couple of years, the lads have actively promoted themselves in their native UK, both at the BBC Radio One and through live appearances, such as the one at the Download Festival at Donington Park.

I believe this extensive live playing has contributed to their already sounding experienced and comfortable in their style, and I must agree with the general acclaim of critics of their musical releases.
Ruin is a solid, personalised heavy hardcore record with many variations of the main hardcore mood and layers that I believe will keep stripping for the attentive listener.

The band is at the time of writing touring the US and will soon join Parkway Drive, Unearth, Despised Icon, Protest the Hero, Whitechapel and Carnifex on the Never Say Die! club tour across Europe. Dates on:
