Here we yet another female fronted symphonic hard rock/metal band. ARCHAIC REVIVAL is their name and ‘Pagan Evolution’ is their debut release and an okay album... nothing more nothing less. Derek Cvengros (guitars and programming) has written both music and lyrics and has done the production as well. Alexandria Clark is responsible for the vocals.

Everything is well-written and so on but I miss something. And even though we get a few great songs most of them are only okay and I don’t feel like playing this CD over and over again. Most of the songs are too slow for my taste and I certainly miss more POWER... more BOMBAST... more... well more of everything. And a few more catchy choruses would help this band a lot.

ARCHAIC REVIVAL has released a decent album but I’m sure that they can top this album on their next release. So project your self because the second blast might be an earthquake.
