Almah
Fragile Equality
Rating
Style: Power Metal
Release date: October 17th 2008

Almah is off course not just another Brazilian power metal band, no this is the side project from none other than current Angra vocalist Edu Falaschi. And while the first effort fell through the ranks and ended in the gutter, this one is absolutely worth giving a chance or two.

While the first one had like four songs that reached an acceptable level, this one has ten very strong and equally great songs. Everything has taken many steps forward, and even though Edu never will be my favorite Angra vocalist, he still manages to show his skills and range on 'Fragile Equality' and prove that he has a very good voice for power metal.

Almah has grown, and the band is edgier, harder and heavier on this album and it pays off. 'Fragile Equality' is a well produced product, one you should give a serious consideration if you are into Power Metal with it's roots solid planted in the German soil.
