The Burning
Storm the Walls
Rating
Style: Death thrash
Release date: December 10th 2007

The Burning is another rising star within the ranks of the premier league of Danish metal. They’ve toiled and paid their dues on the stages around the country over the past couple of years.

The Burning is one of those bands that doesn’t deserve attention because they have reinvented death thrash, or metalcore for that matter – because they certainly haven’t.

They deserve attention because they have turned themselves into a solid force that can be reckoned with, and their debut CD proves just that: it’s aggressive, it has tons of energy, and it makes you want to bang that head that doesn’t bang from the first chord is struck.

‘Storm the Walls’ easily claims the spot as the best death thrash debut from Denmark this year.
