Since the beginning of the Eighties Sinner has been one of the best hard rock bands on the German scene, they have released 14 full-length albums, one live album and five best of.

I was expecting 'Mask of Sanity' to be a Power/Heavy metal album but I was wrong, on “Mask of Sanity” the true meaning of Hard Rock is executed. It’s like a softer/slower version of Primal Fear meets Thin Lizzy and Deep Purple. Just check out the groovy “The Sign” or “Under the Gun” with a great combination of Hard Rock and Heavy Metal. “Can’t Stand the Heat” is pure Thin Lizzy. There are no fillers on this album, and we are even treated with a great cover version of Thin Lizzy’s “Baby Please don’t Leave me”.

“Mask of Sanity” is packed with great craftsmanship it’s easy to hear that these guys have been in the music business for a long time. Mr. Mat Sinner has also done a fine job with the production.

If you’re into Hard Rock then you can’t go wrong with 'Mask of Sanity'.
Sinner will be touring with Vengeance and Chinchilla in March, go check them out.

Recommended tracks: Yes, the entire album.
