Well... if you’re into bands like Hatesphere, At the Gates, Meshuggah, or bands that mix Thrash with Nu influences, then you probably should check this band and album out. “The Silence We Deserve” is the title of Scarpoint’s (from Sweden) debut album but sadly an album I will forget everything about in a week or two.

“The Silence We Deserve” is packed with aggressive vocals and staccato-machine gun guitar riffs but their music is repetitive and nothing jumps out at you or sticks in your head. Their music sounds very, very “mechanical” to me and there are no surprises to be found. They really do need better songs to make it out there.

Well... to be honest... this album wins a little with every spin because it’s all well played and well produced and I won’t call this piece of music crap or bad, but I have heard it all before. But then again... even after numerous listens... it’s still an average experience to me... but check it out and do it now... because it all comes down to a matter of taste and maybe you like it better than me?
