Well... Australian band MAEDER should be a mix between AC/DC and JET... Maybe... but to me they are just quite dull. This self titled album I have been listening to for the last 8 days or so is a tad confusing to me. Sometimes you’re certain that you’re listening to AC/DC and suddenly

they go almost Grunge on me...

Even after numerous listens there’s only one single track that stands out from the rest, namely track 2; “Another Thing Comin’”. The rest of the tracks are sadly very boring in my humble opinion. Okay... to be honest... of course there’s a riff or two that are enjoyable but it’s not enough to save this album. This album has already received good reviews, but I’m a little harder to impress... or so it seems.

If you’re into AC/DC mixed with Grunge then do check it out. If not... steer well clear of this.

There’s so much better stuff around to discover.
