A very interesting new release from the ashes of Swedish Pomp rockers GRAND ILLUSION.

Anders Rydholm (GRAND ILLUSIONs mastermind) and the overly talented shredder, Ola af Trampe have joined forces yet again, fulfilling the formula with none other than Gregg Bissonette on drums and Sherman Wood on vocals, who’ve toured with the likes of Steve Lukather, Albert Lee, Steve Morse and Eddie Van Halen!

They seem to take off where GRAND ILLUSION left us anticipating after their splendid “Ordinary Just Won’t Do” album although adding even more classic clichés in their sound. Their talents shine through all the way, however, and create a very catchy pompous / lightly progressive sound with an updated sound on all instruments.

Potentially, this band will be the highlight of many a collection in 2007 having released a classic sounding Hard Rock album with innovation up front.

I can’t wait to hear where they’ll end up on their next release!
