Raunchy from Denmark are about to release their 3 album and it’s called “Death Pop Romance”. Some call Raunchy Modern Thrash Metal and maybe that’s the right description, but what about “Futuristic Hybrid Metal”? To me that’s a better description. With intensely abrasive Thrash riffs and dynamic drumming Raunchy is about to conquer the world with this third release.

Ten tracks of pure “Futuristic Hybrid Metal” are what this Danish band gives us. Despite the Thrashy riffs and the aggressive vocals this album is quite catchy and memorable.

When I listen to this album I feel like I’m in a middle of a gloomy Science Fiction movie and that suits me fine. The music is aggressive and melancholic at the same time… at least to me.

The vocals are aggressive mixed with clean vocals… very Gothic… All the tracks are good but I miss a real hammer… all the tracks are on the same level… I miss some variety. Don’t worry it’s still a good album.

So, if you are into Modern Metal and bands like Fear Factory and Machine Head I really think you should give this band a listen.

Get ready for a “Futuristic Hybrid Metal” attack!
