After only two albums “Pride of Lions” released in 2003 and “The Destiny Stone” released in 2004, Jim Peternik (Survivor) and his men are back with a double CD and a live DVD. “Live in Belgium ” was recorded on the Lokerse Feesten festival in front of twenty thousand people.

“Live in Belgium ” is packed with great melodic rock, there are five songs from the debut album and four from “The Destiny Stone” and in between there are three Survivor classics “The Search is Over”, “I Can’t Hold Back” and “Eye of the Tiger” plus a track from Peternik’s The Ides of March called “Vehicle”.

Pride of Lions delivers a tight performance, the sound is great and the audience really gets into the songs. The CD comes with a bonus studio CD with seven tracks in the usual Pride of Lions style.

There are also lots of extras on the DVD like the video for “Sound of Home” and a TV performance with a couple of acoustic songs etc. This is one of the few AOR/Melodic Rock live albums/DVD’s that I really like.

Recommended tracks: “Sound of Home”, “Black Ribbons” & “Man behind the Mask”.
