I am not sure why I have such a hard time getting into this album from Lalu. It's not like its not challenging - progressive metal just the way I usually like it. Sure there are a lot of good, fine bits and pieces of exciting music, but somehow I don't feel the music flows, the songs structures are a mess at times and I do miss some power in the songs...

Main man behind this album is Vivien Lalu, who has composed the whole thing and is playing keyboards on the album; maybe some of you know him from his work with Hubi Meisel. The aim with this album is to present material not released with Hubi Meisel on his "EmOcean" album and to satisfy people, who are awaiting the release of the Shadrane album - a conceptual heavy/progressive project created in 2001 by Lalu with Göran Edman (Vocals), Joop Wolters (Guitars), Matt Bissonette (Bass) and Gregg Bissonette (Drums), their debut album "Neurastasia" should hit the streets some time this year.

I for one could easily have been without this album and waited for the release of Shadrane, I am not even sure how many other progressive metal fans will find much pleasure with this one either...

Enough said, next one please... Awesome cover btw.!
