DVD 1 has the complete show from the Astoria in Wolverhampton, UK shot on April 23rd 2005. And shows Magnum in their true environment - performing their great songs live in front of a cool and enthusiastic crowd. Playing a total of 18 songs from their entire career. Highlights include the title track from their latest album; "Brand New Morning" - a very cool opener, "We All Run" also from their latest album. But things get really under the way after the intermission when they kick into gear with the complete "On a Storyteller's Night" album! My favourites include "How Far Jerusalem", "Just like an Arrow", the title track and "Les Morts Dansants" and off course the 2 closing songs: "All England's Eyes" and "The Last Dance"...

Overall a very good live show captured on tape for all hard rock as well as Magnum fans around the World. Good stuff...

DVD 2 is a real special treat for Magnum fans with interviews, a special acoustic version of "The Spirit", a 12 minutes view of the fans lined up outside The Astoria, a quick look behind the scenes on the road, rehearsals before the tour and least, but not last all 8 videos the band has shot!

We get "Rockin' Chair", "Lonely Nights", "It Must Have Been Love", "Days Of No Trust", "Start Talkin' Love", "Just Like An Arrow", "Heart Broke And Busted" and "Midnight", most from their most successful period around the release of "Wings Of Heaven", which made it all the way to no. 5 on the British charts and featured no less than 3 Top 30 singles. Strangely enough almost all the songs are no longer a part of their live show anymore.

Good insightful interviews, nice to see the old videos again, but can anyone please explain to me what's going on in the "Lonely Nights" video.... hehe???
Overall essential stuff for Magnum fans around the World... and as one fan in the queue so truly says: "Magnum is a people's band"... do experience them yourselves...
