Kamelot shot live on stage in Oslo in front of a good and energetic crowd, brilliant footage - no less than 18 cameras were used, and a band having fun and playing an almost perfect set is what this excellent double live DVD offers us Kamelot fans! And like I wrote in my review (see review) of the double live CD released simultaneously with this double live DVD it's pretty hard to argue with the song selection and the running order, because it's all there...

The wait for the first Kamelot DVD has been long, but it pays off big time, because this is without a doubt the best power metal DVD of 2006 and the 100 minutes concert alone makes the purchase of this DVD worth every little hard earned penny...

Focus points are off course vocalist Roy Khan and guitarist Thomas Youngblood, but new guy Oliver Palotai is a great addition to the line-up, he is a beast on stage and his solo part is actually very entertaining. Glenn Barry (bass) and Casey Grillo (drums) is a much underrated unit in my opinion and their interaction on stage proves just that! The Halo choir and special guests like Mari Youngblood, Elisabeth Kjærnes, Simone Simons (Epica), Sascha Paeth and Snowy Shaw adds to the overall awesome sound and makes things even more interesting...

But it's on the bonus DVD the real gems are hidden for us the fans! Visiting the homes of a few band members, there's a cool section where the band answers fan email, live footage from Sweden Rock, videos, a photo gallery and a very cool biography section with all the info on the band members you every wish to know...

But do yourself the favour and experience this outstanding live show captured on tape, which along with the cool background material makes this an essential purchase for power metal fans all around the world.
