Fourth
album from Canadian hard rock outfit Danko Jones. Danko
Jones has been around the last ten years. “Sleep
is the Enemy” is the perfect album for every party, a mixture of
Bloodhound Gang, Thin
Lizzy and AC/DC, actually I think that you have to be drunk to
enjoy Danko Jones.
“Sleep
is the Enemy” is one of those albums that will be on the charts
the next few weeks, But
in a year or two nobody remembers.
Quite
a few of the tracks on “Sleep is the Enemy” has hit potential,
“Don’t Fall in Love”, “First
Date” and “When Will I See You Again” just to name a few.
“Sleep
is the Enemy” is not an album that I will listen to again, but
the 11 tracks could easily appeal to a lot of hard rock fans.
But
I warn you THIS IS NOT HEAVY METAL.
