NIGHTMARE SIGN TO AFM
RECORDS!!!
French heavy metal pioneers NIGHTMARE have inked a world wide record
deal with AFM Records.
NIGHTMARE were founded in 1979 (!) already and therefore celebrate their
30th anniversary with a big anniversary concert in France later this
year. The release of NIGHTMAREs new studio album (working title: “Insurrection”)
is planned for September. You can expect classic, but also up-to-date
heavy/power metal with razor-sharp guitars and bloodcurdling vocals.
The band comments:
“We are very proud to announce that NIGHTMARE have inked a (world wide)
deal with German giant metal label AFM Records…
The band has entered the Indiscreet studio in Stuttgart (Germany) on May
4th with famous producer, Achim Koehler (EDGUY, MASTERPLAN, PRIMAL FEAR…
) on the helm, to record their seventh studio album to date. The album
entitled “Insurrection”, will be released worldwide through AFM on
September 11th, 2009...
The album cover has been made once again by Swedish artist, Par Olofsson
who did already the one of the previous album, “Genetic Disorder”.

NEW AFM SIGNING: CHRIS CAFFERY!!!
With bands like Savatage and Trans-Siberian Orchestra he became famous
world wide: Chris Caffery! Now the guitarist/singer has inked a deal
with AFM Records for the release of his new (forth) solo album “House Of
Insanity”. Zak Stevens (ex-Savatage/Circle II Circle) will have a guest
appearance here as well.
The release is scheduled for July 10th.
TANKARD: SHOUT DUEL!!!
The possibly loudest metal frontman (Gerre from TANKARD) challenges “Wurst-Achim”,
the world´s loudest mountebank in this amazing video.

AXXIS WILL SUPPORT UFO!!!
On June, 26, 2009 our friends from AXXIS will support the mighty UFO at
their show in Speyer (GER). For sure, AXXIS (who will soon celebrate
their 20th anniversary) will play the one or another song from their
upcoming studio album „Utopia“ which will be released on August, 28,
2009 via AFM Records.
