Power of Metal.dk - I am pretty sure most of our readers do not know your background, so could you start by telling us a bit about you and your musical background… Anima - Our musical background? To tell the people on the hole world what the daily grind is!!! Everybody can know how horrible this worls is. we want to represent this with our music. Power of Metal.dk – The album has been out a few weeks now, what kind of expectations do you have for it? Anima - That a lot of people buy and hear our music, that we get many fans and play a lot of shows and that all people visit our shows!!!!! Power of Metal.dk – How has the response been so far? Anima - We got a lot of good reviews but also some bad too... When everybody listen to the same music than it's boring... But we played some shows over X-mas and some other dates and we had a very amazing audience!!! Power of Metal.dk – What would you tell a total stranger, if he asks what kind of music you play? Anima - I would say we play modern technical DEATHMETAL or easy to say DEATHCORE. But when he don't know this style of music, than I can't help him, I would say very hard music. Power of Metal.dk - Who has produced and mixed the album? How does the final result compare to the idea you had going into the studio? Anima - We want to have a good sound, than we recorded in slaughterspalace RAPE OF HARMONIES and the results are great!!! Power of Metal.dk - Tell us a bit about artwork… Anima - Our lyrics about violence against woman and all the other bad things...The woman on our CD cover represent the suffer in her life... Power of Metal.dk - Anima – any special story behind your name? Anima - Yes!!! our old name was TODAY HEAVENS DYING... but after some month before we started playing, we thought the name is rubbish... at the same time we get our present singer Robert Horn... our idea were that TODAY HEAVENS DYING dies and awake in ANIMA!!! ANIMA means SOULS OF THE DECEDENTS... that was our name of our first album. Power of Metal.dk - What’s the ambition for the band on a longer term? Anima - To have a lot of fun with our music, play many shows and maybe in future to earn money with our music... Power of Metal.dk - What are the best and worst trends in metal today? Anima - The best??? I would say metal festivals and the music... and the worst... the shit EMO style and music... and before I forget... the clean voices special in DEATHMETAL!!!!!!!!!!! Power of Metal.dk – You are told that you are going to take part in an experiment where you have to live seclude for a month, and are allowed to take either 5 books or 5 albums with you. What do you choose and what would you have taken along with you and why? Anima - I think BEHEMOTH- Demigod, The Apostasy, AMON AMARTH- Twilight of the thunder god, NECROPHAGIST- Onset putrefaction, CRIONICS- Neuthrone, PRIMORDIAL- To the nameless Dead. that's all great bands.
