On the rack:
Dominik Szelinski from Black Thoughts Bleeding

Wretched sinner, tell us about your latest deeds of evil and spite, ‘Stomachion!

Black Thoughts Bleeding - Mighty inquisitor, fearless I face You (ehm okay, actually I'm facing my computer screen) to confess about our first evil spawn of music. 'Stomachion' is our first full length album, a combination of hard thrash metal and brutal but melodic heavy music. We signed a record deal with the werewolf-like people at Silverwolf Productions last summer to release this beast of a debut record in March 2010. We confess to have given our souls to the music we play, to have made a pact with the music industry and to be willing to fight until the last man standing.

You fiend! You intend to tour the world with this devilish noise, don't you?!

Black Thoughts Bleeding - Of course we do! Having a powerful companion with that would be like the next step for us as a band. Writing the music, recording it and releasing a record is always only a part of it. Being out there, rocking out on stage and having a huge party with the crowd is what this music is made for and what we are longing for. So if there's anyone or any booking agency out there willing to set up a show or a tour with us, feel free to give us a call.

I reckon you have many ungodly stories from your sinful tours. You might as well give us the worst story since we're preparing to fry you anyway!

Black Thoughts Bleeding - There's a funny story of how things went when we played the Summer Breeze open air festival in 2008. On the first day the travelling metal heads had already jammed all the streets leading to the festival area. Of course we had to be right in the middle of that gigantic traffic jam, the band in the van and me following in a second car. While the band somehow made it through on time and were waiting for me to arrive, I was stuck about 10 kilometers from the artist entrance. After endless phone calls and freaked out screaming all that was left to do was to exit the car and start running to get to the stage and play our show. So there I was, running along all those waiting cars with metal heads in them for some kilometers. I had already given up hope to make it on time and was cursing the damn traffic for the missed opportunity to share the stage with bands like Cradle Of Filth, As I Lay Dying and Heaven Shall Burn when there was a car that had been sent to pick me up. We literally faced death overtaking hundreds of waiting cars on the opposite lane. That was like the worst nightmare, but in the end I arrived about 3 minutes before we had to go on stage and I guess we delivered an adrenaline rushed and powerful set there.

Oh, you are indeed a wretch! If we had not caught you, what would you and your cohordes have done now? Recorded even more of your fiendish rattling?

Black Thoughts Bleeding - Right now we are all very busy preparing the release of 'Stomachion'. The official release show in our home town will be next weekend and we are having some extras for that. We're on the road about every weekend to promote the record and to have a good time with the people there. We are very proud of what we created with this album and so it's natural to be out there and tell the world about it.

Damnations! You are beyond redemption. Name the five musical pieces that you want to bring with you when we send you to hell!

Black Thoughts Bleeding - Well, let me think of five records we'd need to have in the van when touring our way down to hell... I guess we'd have some Machine Head records with us, something from Unearth, maybe a record from Darkest Hour, possibly some old Sepultura as well. There might as well be some hip hop, punk or hardcore record in the radio. We're all big fans of all different styles and genres and since we all share a common love for good music, we listen to nearly everything.
