Wretched sinner, tell us about your latest deeds of evil and spite, 'Souldrinker'

Chris:   We wanted to create a real aggressive piece of music...no sissy vocals, no keyboards, no bullshit. Just in-your-face metal. There was and is no limit, that was the target when we formed this band. We play the music we want to...that's why there are so many influences on this record. Fast songs, groove-stuff and epic-metal-songs.

Markus (Pohl - guitar) came up with so many great ideas, a lot of kick-ass riffs and this time he really showed his skills. There was no other guitar-player he had to deal with, no singer he had to 'give' the right chords to sing, in other words (to quote the mighty Arnold in "Predator"): If it bleeds, we can play it J.

Eleven songs of blood and destruction, offered with a powerful sound and crested with a hellish artwork and booklet. Metal all the way.

You fiend! You intend to tour the world with this devilish noise, don't you?!

Chris:   We're preparing a world domination tour to bring our backward messages to all you sinners and to all the brave people who don't know Watch Me Bleed yet. But they will for sure after our shows of metal, blood and mayhem. Check the tourdates on our homepage...and be there for some blood, fuck and metal.

We will start with some single shows to get us in the right mood and then we will start touring around march/april next year. Names cannot be told as we're still in negotiations with a couple of bands to find out who is the most wretched spawn to tour with us .

I reckon you have many ungodly stories from your sinful tours. You might as well give us the worst story since we're preparing to fry you anyway!

Chris:   Normally there is this rule...what happens on tour stays on tour. But here's one little story for all you devil worshippers: We played that show in a famous club in Germany and after all the moshing and banging the whole band was sitting in that nice little bar as that girl appears. Let's say here name is Vivian (to be honest...we really didn't know or wanted to know her real name). She was just coming to our table, sat down an started to talk to some guy that was with her. After a while that guy disappeared and left her alone with us foolish tribe.

She looked at one of our singers and said 'Hey...I got a lot of tattoos, too. So..of course we wanted to know where and what...and it doesn't took more than 5 minutes and she was all naked except for that little thong, showing us all the 'secret' places of her tattoos. We forced her to dance on our table...and nicely 'introduced' her to a lot of nice toys to play with. She had quite a lot fun with herself!!!

Suddenly that guy came back (...the one she was talking to, five minutes before) and started yellin- and screamin- about the nice dance she gave us. A couple of the other people in the bar started yellin- with him..we didn't really know about what they all were complaining but her 'boy-friend' tried to get here down from our table...and we tried to keep her on the same.

As you can imagine it took less than ten seconds and we had a nice little fight...and the whole bar was taking the ball and started fighting, throwing glasses & chairs and the mayhem went on. The whole thing ended in a German police-station, with some of us in handcuffs, a naked girl screaming and an angry boy-friend, band-members and other bar-visitors in the hospital. And of course...we will never play that club again, as the police shut down the whole place for that night.

Oh, you are indeed a wretch! If we had not caught you, what would you and your cohordes have done now? Recorded even more of your fiendish rattling? 

Chris:   Actually we are preparing our shows. But we also started writing new songs filled with blood, metal and mayhem as we're in a very creative mood right now. There's still enough hate and anger in all of us to fill another album with some devilish songs and backward messages. You just have to watch TV or read the news...plenty inspirations for us foolish musicians.

We will shoot a second video in december (the first one can be viewed here: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=4gJCVCC8kdw) and we're working on a cover-version for our live-set. A lot work work in between all the sex, drugs and whatever comes to our minds!!!
