On the rack: Rogga from Ripspreader | |
Wretched sinner, tell us about your latest deeds of evil and spite, ‘Opus Ripcage’!
Ripspreader- It was recorded in 2006 and slightly delayed up until just recently when VIC Records released it. Its by far the most brutal and also most simpel album we´ve done with Ribspreader. Its primal mongoloid death metal made for defiling religious people.
| You fiend! You intend to tour the world with this devilish noise, don't you?!
Ribspreader - Actually not. Right now, as always we are mainly a studio band. I mean we have a full lineup so doing a tour would be possible but we havent been offered any good deal yet. So maybe after the next album we will be out playing finally, or as soon as anyone throws a good tour or festival our way really.
| I reckon you have many ungodly stories from your sinful tours. You might as well give us the worst story since we're preparing to fry you anyway!
Ribspreader - As mentioned above the only ungodly stories would have to be from any other tour I have done, as Ribspreader hasnt done one yet haha. However my brain is so marinaded in beer and booze so any stories I might have had are since long gone in the mist...
| Oh, you are indeed a wretch! If we had not caught you, what would you and your cohordes have done now? Recorded even more of your fiendish rattling?
Ribspreader - Actually yes, and you came too late really as the next Ribspreader has already been written and partly recorded. We only have vocals and drums left to record, so next year will have to endure more spew coming from us.
| Damnations! You are beyond redemption. Name the five musical pieces that you want to bring with you when we send you to hell!
Ribspreader - The Gates of Slumber - Conqueror, The Lord Weird Slough Feg - Hardworlder, Grand Magus - Iron Will, The Lamp of Toth - Portents Omens and Dooms, and finally perhaps the new Candlemass too. As hell seems a bit doomy and gloomy these albums would be a good choice I think. Maybe a Eddie Meduza and Onkel Kånkel collection aswell if Satan allows me beers once in a while...
