On the rack: Amok from ONHEIL

Wretched sinner, tell us about your latest deeds of evil and spite, 'Razor'!

Amok: It's our latest release and our first full-length album. Expect 10 tracks full of fast, dark and ofcourse extremely evil “Blackened Metal” yet we combined this sound with a large dose of occult harmonic melodies and hellish sounds from devilish metal genres like heavy, death and thrash metal.

You fiend! You intend to tour the world with this devilish noise, don't you?!

Amok: Yes, we do. We believe to have created a masterpiece that the world should know about! And we will start the summonings later this year at every location we feel the dark powers are present.

I reckon you have many ungodly stories from your sinful tours. You might as well give us the worst story since we're preparing to fry you anyway!

Amok: I can't really recall a specific story. Every live performance is great and sounds like the demonic legions are storming the heavens!

Oh, you are indeed a wretch! If we had not caught you, what would you and your cohordes have done now? Recorded even more of your fiendish rattling?

Amok: Well, ”Razor” has just been unleashed upon the world so there won't be any recordings for a while. Let's promote the album first, do some tours and maybe create a videoclip. Then later on we will think about our next creation that we will record in some dark dungeon for the almighty Cyclone Empire.

Damnations! You are beyond redemption. Name the five musical pieces that you want to bring with you when we send you to hell!

Amok: Fuck, that's a hard question. Well, I think the list would be something like this:

  1. Dissection – Storm Of The Lights Bane
  2. Impaled Nazarene – Nihil
  3. Gorgoroth – Under The Sign Of Hell
  4. God Dethroned – Bloody Blasphemy
  5. Judas Priest – Painkiller
