Well, we have recorded this little piece of mayhem with Alexander Dietz of Heaven Shall Burn in Germany. Notorious metal wizzard Zeuss did the mixing and mastering. We loved ---ah, I mean hailed... what he did on the latest White Chapel and the Acacia Strain records. We knew that these two metal messiahs were a good choice. Omnicide is by far our fastest and most brutal record, but we tried to give enough room for diversity and melody too. We are quite proud of the record and hope the devil will notice and recommend it!

Who's idea was it to use more black-metal influences?
|

|
Well, in the first place it was unholy creator himself, of course, who came up with that plan. But we also had something do with it. We always liked to mix these parts with our sound to make it more complex and dynamic and atmospheric. We just had some more black metal ideas this time and wanted to use less "real" melodies. Thus, two things simply came together, But we also wanted to make the record darker.

Well, I remember a fierce act of evil, which we delivered unto the bass player of The Agony Scene on a Caliban tour. We told him to use ice/hot cream on his penis because it was quite harmless and soft and feeling real nice. Indeed (HAHAHA), it was quite intense and extreme hot hot cream! It was marvellous! Though very mean, i admit. I confessed later that night...

Well. we must play music and shows. It's our passion and a great way to leave the earthly burden. At the moment my fearless comrades and I are invading a few helpless cities in Germany , Switzerland, Austria and Lithuania. We also just shot a video of the song "Prey to Anguish"which will be spread soon.

You have left the path of average metalcore, can we expect even more black and death influences on the records to come?

Well, Omnicide has just been unleashed a week ago. So, it is too early to talk about future audio poison. Yet, I guess it is safe to say that we will never turn 180 degrees and will not become more poppy or commercial (or a girl choir). And we enjoy playing fast and brutal shit. So changes are quite good! But still, we try not to copy and repeat ourselves too much...
