Wretched sinner, tell us about your latest deeds of evil and spite, ‘Cloaked in Doctrine’!

Our latest diabolical act is called "Cloaked in Doctrine". The C.D. features four tracks, one of which is an atmospheric instrumental ("Upon the 13th hour"). It took the band quite a while to write and arrange but we wanted to make sure that we were completely satisfied with the end result before releasing it. It has more elements of black metal than our previous demo releases but still retains our death/thrash sound. We do not tend to stick to one specific style or genre but draw from our different influences

You fiend! You intend to tour the world with this devilish noise, don't you?!

Fiend?! How dare you!! Well, we do intend to tour as much as possible, you may not appreciate our devilish musical compositions but there are those who do. Ground of Ruin performed throughout Ireland for years and has performed at "way of Darkness" 2007 and "Queens of Metal" 2008 in Germany. It is our intention to continue this trendin the future and we look forward to playing shows abroad as much as possible and hope to return to the hellish fans in Germany again soon! That’s assuming that we survive this nightmarish inquisition!

I reckon you have many ungodly stories from your sinful tours. You might as well give us the worst story since we're preparing to fry you anyway!

Our stories and misadventures are of no interest or consequence to you. There is no point in incriminating ourselves any further, your torture tactics will not  succeed. My only hope is that you have enough firewood to finish us all off!!

Oh, you are indeed a wretch! If we had not caught you, what would you and your cohordes have done now? Recorded even more of your fiendish rattling?

Hahaha, oh yes. We are currently in the process of writing new material for our next release, however there are no plans to return to the studio just yet. The plan is to play more gigs and festivals in support of "Cloaked in Doctrine" in Ireland and further a field. By the time we are done promoting the C.D. we will have enough material to record a full length album.
